So I rather liked

's art project thingy he suggested a while back, but no one came through on it but me. *glare*
SO! I'm trying it again, now that B has a laptop and is all enthused about it.
Essentially he suggested a bunch of us friends doing art on the same subject. Any kind of art, and any interpretation of the topic so long as you can argue that it IS related to the topic. We do this every week and we'll rotate who gets to put up a topic every week. I guess 'cause it's Thursday I'll have it start every Friday and end on Thursdays. So there'll be a new topic on Fridays and you can submit things up until Thursday. The idea is just to get all of us off our lazy asses and make us DO things. It doesn't have to be Great Art or anything. Just your interpretation of the topic, whether it's a scribble or a painting or a photograph or whatever.
Anyone who wants to can throw in on this - just let me know you're gonna and I (or whoever's putting up the topic that week) will put a link in their journal to your submission. You should put a link to the same journal in your comments of course.
TOPIC for April 25 - May 1:
Sea monster.

has this
[link]to say regarding things unsettlingly adorable and toothy.

has been reading "Solaris" by Stanislaw Lem.
[link]As usual, his beauty is in the details.
I myself
[link]am enjoying early nineteenth century macabre painters at the moment, so... this is Goya's fault.
'Kay, that's it!
I think My Love did good, if quick, work, but Zach's is too goddamned cute to pass up, so I'll confer the choice of the next topic on him. *pokepoke* Do it by tomorrow to give us lots of time!

Yes, that's a cheap plug. No, I'm not ashamed.
